Richard A. Bittles – Rick is the President of HBG Insurance & Bonds. A lifelong resident of Putnam County, his commitment to the community is evidenced by his involvement as past president of the Greencastle Jaycees and past president of Windy Hill Country Club. Additionally, Rick is a charter board member of the Friends of the Greencastle Fire Department, as well as past board member of the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce. He is active in the Greencastle Rotary Club and Greencastle Christian Church.He began his insurance career at HBG Insurance & Bonds in 1978. In 1979, he became a partner and has been providing property, casualty, life and health risk management services to Putnam and surrounding counties since that time. In 1986, Rick began assuming management responsibility for the agency and became the agency’s president in 1989, a position he currently holds. Additionally, Rick has served as past president of the Putnam County Independent Insurance Agents Association. He has also served and continues to serve as a board member on several insurance company advisory boards. Rick is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of DePauw University, graduating in 1978 with a BA in Economics. Rick has completed eight of ten parts of his CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation. Michael C. Conover – A graduate of Indiana University, Mike joined HBG in 1990 after 4 years of experience as a commercial underwriter with USF&G and 13 years in underwriting and marketing management for the Chubb Group of companies. Mike is a Vice President of the organization and is a part of the leadership team in the Zionsville office. He holds the prestigious CPCU (Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter) designation.

Harold W. Stark III – Scott began his career in the insurance industry in 1987 as a property, casualty, life and health marketing representative for Federated Mutual Insurance Company, working in the Chicago area. In 1989 he was presented with the Federated President’s Council award for his marketing success. He joined the HBG team in 1991 and is currently a Vice President, serving in our Zionsville office. John R. Parmley – John graduated from Indiana State University in 1994, when he began his career in the independent agency system. He has been with HBG since 1998, becoming a Vice President in 2005. He has served as president of the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce and the Greencastle Jaycees. He has served as a board member for the Putnam County Red Cross and Windy Hill Country Club, in addition to holding an active leadership role in his church.
